Visiting Buckingham Palace Summer Opening - Buckingham Palace's sumptuous State Rooms open again this summer, and after the palace's lavish interiors were so prominently displayed in Danny Boyle's Olympics Opening Ceremony, they're bound to be even more popular this year than usual. You're unlikely to see any royals on your visit, but you will have time to admire artworks that form part of the Royal Collection, including paintings by Van Dyck and Canaletto. This year visitors will also have the opportunity to experience the Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration exhibition.
